A butterfly friend who allowed me to take a really close picture of its wings

I like butterflies a lot. I am known for going to our local museum that contains a room full of live butterflies, and spending upwards of an hour in there and just holding them on my hands, or taking pictures of them.

I don’t know what kind this one is, but there are several there, and always very amiable to being picked up.

Or rather, my mother's piano

This is where I like to spend a lot of my time, whether I'm actually playing it, or just basking in its presence

I’m actually not very good at the piano, as artists go. I can play with both hands, and I can play some chords. This does not lead to having the songs coming out as they are supposed to, and as such, whereas I can sit down and play a melody, that doesn’t mean it’s the song.

But that doesn’t stop me from loving to play what I can. I can pick out a melody of almost any song I’ve heard more than once, and often in the key it’s actually played in. I love to hear the melodies, and I love to play.

I won’t pretend that my skills can get me anywhere with them, nor do I really have the ambition/passion to gain the skills to do something with them. But that’s okay. I don’t need fame or notoriety. What I do need, is music. And so I’m happy with what I have.

I love this piano very much.
